Grundy County History & Heritage

Grundy County History & Heritage is a site dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of Grundy County Tennessee.

The Grundy County Historical Society, The Grundy County Heritage Center and The Tennessee Consolidate Coal Company Library & Research Center are featured in this site along with a substantial collection of Grundy County resources that have been initially collected and published by Ralph Thompson.

This site is managed and maintained by Grundy County Historical Society.

Nearly all of the content from the original site grundycountyhistory.org has been replicated on this site.  If you find something missing or incorrect, please contact the webmaster.

This new version of the website has been developed for the express purpose of collecting and sharing historical information concerning Grundy County Tennessee and for featuring the work of Grundy County Historical Society including the Grundy County Heritage Center and the Tennessee Consolidated Coal Company Library & Research Center.
